INTRODUCTIONWelcome to Android Macro. (Android Macro, “company”, “we”, “our”, “us")
Android Macro provides this Privacy Policy to explain our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information in connection with our website https://www.androidmacro.com and our mobile application 'Android Macro' (together or individually “Service”) and other activities described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies only to the practices of companies we own, control, or are united with under common control.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Android Macro unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, We may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information.
As stated before we encourage you to review the privacy policies, in-app permissions and terms of those third parties.
This permission features will likely to change in the future.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app We collect data and information (through third party products such as Firebase Crashlytics) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
User Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, some of it's feature is required us to collect some of your personal information. The features we mention are "Sync to cloud", sign in, the Macro Store and the AI assistant, as for these features We will breakdown what data we are collecting:
This feature enables user to save their own macro into our server and later can be downloaded
This feature is required in order to use "Sync to cloud (Macro)" and to publish, comment or follow in the Macro Store. We do not receive your Google password.
This feature lets users share macros. What you publish is public, or visible to anyone with its link if you publish it as unlisted:
We also store, to run the Store (not public):
This feature connects directly from your phone to the AI provider you choose, using your own API key. It does not go through our server. The provider receives, under its own privacy policy:
Your API key and chat history stay on your phone. If the assistant opens a web page, your phone connects to that website directly. If you report an AI reply, we receive the reply, the reason, your note and the AI model's name, stored with your account, or with a hashed install identifier or IP address if you are not signed in.
If you send us feedback from the app, we receive the text you write.
These data is stored in our server. WE DO NOT sell it, and WE DO NOT share it with anyone else or any third-party companies, except what you publish in the Macro Store and what the AI assistant sends to the provider you chose.
We keep these data while your account exists. You can delete your account and it's associated data in the app (Help > Delete account) or using this link: Account Deletion. This removes your profile, cloud macros, Store macros, follows, favorites, reports, download and run records, and the text of your comments. Pro purchase and license records belong to the install, not your account, and are kept to prevent fraud. So that deleting an account can't undo a moderator's decision, two things stay: if your account was banned from the Store, a one-way hash of your email (not the email itself) is kept until the ban ends, and the ban applies again if you sign up with that email; and if a moderator blocked one of your Store macros as harmful, its ID is kept so the copies people downloaded stay blocked. Google keeps analytics, crash and ad data under its own policies.
